Notes:
(1) This calculator is provided for professional clinicians.
(2) Variables 1–5 represent nutrition-related indicators, variables 6–12 denote general characteristic indicators, variables 13–15 indicate serological test indicators, and variable 15 corresponds to physical examination indicators.
(3) The data used to construct this calculator were derived from KNHANES, where all variables are computed through standardized procedures. Due to space limitations, these procedures are not described in detail here, but users may refer to the KNHANES documentation for specific calculation methods. We clearly provide the units for each variable, and users may compute the required indicators according to the practices and resources available in their own regions. For example, in China, approximate nutrition-related metrics can be obtained by having patients complete standardized dietary questionnaires through widely used platforms such as WeChat-based mini programs.
(4) Education level is coded as follows: 1 = No formal education; 2 = Kindergarten; 3 = Preschool class; 4 = Elementary school; 5 = Middle school; 6 = High school; 7 = 2- or 3-year college; 8 = 4-year university; 9 = Graduate school; 88 = Child; 99 = Unknown.
